(05:22) All tracks by Michael Shanahan except Quartrack which is by Michael & Peter Shanahan. Peter Shanahan also plays guitar on QuarTrack. All other guitars and vocals by Michael Shanahan. All tracks are available as free 128kbs MP3 downloads by clicking the links above. If you would like a studio quality recording of the album on CD complete with proper sleeve notes then take a visit to the shop. Background The entire project took 2 days from initial concept to finished product. Most of the guitar parts were recorded live in studio as single takes. In the case of the title track (Aftermath), this was recorded as a live rhythm track and then immediately played back while a lead track was recorded also as a single take. The EP also marks my first collaboration with my son, Peter. The piece we recorded together, QuarTrack, was actually the longest track prior to editing. Interestingly, the track owes more to mathematical calculation than anything else. Technical Guitars: A collection of Paul Reed Smith
